The version of double commander is pretty old, any plans to update it to the latest version (0.9.9 beta)? Or you are waiting for the v1.0.0 which is supposedly coming out in a few days postponed 3 months?

Roadmap - Double Commander Bug Tracker (sourceforge.io)

It's the latest stable release they have. If you want beta versions, you have to build it yourself.

This container doesn't shut down gracefully, so it will always time out when Unraid tries to shut it down (with `docker stop -t xx`, where 'xx' is the Docker stop timeout you've set), e.g., when backing up appdata. The usual trick of adding '--init' under 'Extra Parameters' isn't working either.

I left the docker install at default

How do I navigate to my user shares? I cannot find them on double commander gui.

Default settings from lsio do not include any path mapping to the shares.  Add another path mapping of /mnt/user mapped to /unraid, then you'll find it within the container at /unraid

Does anyone have any idea what the black dot is:

image.png.c1da961fa5bb9c07df46a66499dc696d.png

If I click on it, it expands into a place to type with a few extra options:

image.png.7fd3cd279d6bcb5e3c70ceda6db011e9.png

If I type into that box or use the on-screen keyboard button, it puts text into the filter box of Double Commander.  I looked through the settings but didn't see anything about it.  I thought maybe it was part of some other OSD software somewhere, but it only shows up in the WebUI of Double Commander.  I can move it around (slowly) to a spot that is out of the way, but I'd prefer to turn it off if anyone knows how.

I figured this out.  It was being added in gclient/rdp.ejs.  I copied the file out to a different folder in appdata, edited it to remove the extra stuff, and then mapped that file back to the file inside of the container.  After removing/readding the container, the black dot was gone.  I'm sure the black dot is useful for someone, but it wasn't for me.

An alternative to this is to use the ability to run scripts on these lsio containers: Customizing our Containers

Wow, you're right. That is a pretty overwhelming interface. Want to try it because it seems like it has good features, but that screenshot is definitely giving me some pause.

Probably you know it already but some might now that this can be easily fixed

it's the second time it happens...after using it normally for long time...i add another path that points to /isos and when i update the settings the app disappears from the docker list and i can only reinstall it. Ever happened to anyone?

UPDATE: got it working. Had to select PRIVLIDGE MODE when editing the docker settings.

Any resolution with this? I get this same error or just a blank white screen with a mouse cursor I can move around. I do see one black dot on the left side of the screen. Here is the entire log:

Hello,

can you explain what you did exactly? Because I'm having the exact same issue with a completely fresh install of Unraid and Doublecmd.

Thanks

EDIT: Nm, thank you. Toggling priviliged on the docker when installing the app indeed, solved it.

Hi,

I recently updated my Unraid server to 6.10.1 and now I see en error in the Double Commander logs. It seems that xauth can’t be found. When I try to start DoubleCommander, it can’t load .Xauthority

Failed to open authorization file “.Xauthority”: No such file or directory

Can I reinstall that somehow?
