September 28, 20205 yr I had an issue where upon installation of a replacement drive (disk5) and a subsequent rebuild of the data everything was fine. Next day there was a power-outage while I was out. When I came back, the first drive in my array (disk1) was in an Unmountable: No File System state. I searched the forums and was told the best way to resolve was by running a xfs_repair, which I did. Everything looked like it was working until I realized there were no Dockers present -- also some shares were missing. It appears however that a Lost/Found folder appeared and looks to contain all my data. At this point, I'm not sure how to proceed, as I'd rather not start from scratch. I've attached the dignostics. Any help is GREATLY appreciated. tower-diagnostics-20200928-2138.zip Edited September 28, 20205 yr by hybridxer0
September 29, 20205 yr Community Expert If the data in lost+found is still recognizable move it to the correct place.
September 29, 20205 yr Author There are 760 numbered folders (which contain data that is readable) but seems all disorganized (see attached screenshot).
September 29, 20205 yr Community Expert There's no magic way, you'd need to check folder by folder, "file" command might help identify some of the files.
September 29, 20205 yr Author for my docker apps, I should reinstall, then move all the lost+found files/folders?
September 29, 20205 yr Community Expert Best would be to have an appdata backup, then you could restore it, it won't be easy to restore from lost+found folders.
