Very Slow Write Speed at Array, What Need Do for Fix?

Featured Replies

Hi!

I am newby Unraid&Unix user. English is not my native language, please sorry for some errors.

2 days ago i was setup 6.8.3 with trial key. In pc case setup 4 HDD, WDC WD30EFRX-68EUZN0. For test i create array from 3 HDD - one hDD for parity drive and 2 for storage, without cache. I planned transfer my data from old NAS and add old HDD in array with exchange parity drive. Old HDD is 2 WDC WD40EFRX-68WT0N0.

OLD NAS, Router, PC and Unraid all have ethernet card with 1Gb speed. OLD NAS with other device connected by wire and PLC adapter, from node to node with max speed 100 Mb.

When i start copy from OLD NAS at Eth i have speed near 40Mb per sec and write speed on array near 1-2 Mb. I was shocked and start read this forum for fix problem. Yesterday I thought there was a problem in SMB config, and add in smb-extra option for multitread. Now i copy some data from PC, and view at Eth speed near 100 Mb per sec and write speed on array near 11 Mb per sec. It's better, but not enough. I check cache at hdd by sdparm, cache is on.

What and why i need do for fix problem? Any log by request.
