Device IDs suddenly all changed

Featured Replies

Any reason why all my device ids changed and it appears there are fewer iommu groups.

Motherboard is a Gigabyte x570 aorus pro wifi

I'm assuming one image is the before and the other is the after?  It looks like you added/removed some hardware which will reshuffle devices and I guess could change iommu groups.  Did you disable anything in the bios or reset it?

2nd image (more iommu groups) is before and 1st image is after. No changes in hardware. I'm gonna downgrade the bios later tonight.

Is all of your hardware working?  For example, one image shows one gpu while the other shows a different

Sorry the 2nd image is someone's iommu but the iommu groups are pretty much the same except the GPU. I have a 2070 Super. I can't get an image of my old iommu group anymore.

Sounds like maybe the pcie_acs_override option was changed. But you can't really compare apples to oranges here because of the slightly different hardware
