[SOLVED] - Do unused drives still spin down when other apps are installed?

Featured Replies

Couldn't find anything in the forum so thought I'd ask the group-at-large:

Does unRAID still spin down unused drives if other applications (MythTV / YAMJ / XBMC for example) are also installed (and running) on the server?

I know the standard answer would be "as long as those apps aren't reading/writing from said drives," - but I wanted clarification or confirmation on whether this was actually the case (I assume there are folks here who are running said or similar applications on their unRAID servers).
