October 5, 20205 yr I removed a disk but interrupted the balance process and now the disk shows as Unmountable: No file system. Is the data now lost and do I need to take the disk out of cache pool, add it into the unassigned devices and then re add it again as a fresh cache and restore from backups? Or.... is there a way to save the day?

October 6, 20205 yr There are some recovery options here, if it doesn't work you'll need to re-format and restore from backups.
October 7, 20205 yr Author Thanks for your help. Unfortunately, non of the recovery options worked and I've ended up restoring from backups and all is well now 🙂
