Server will not shutdown. (Unmounting remote file system)

Recommended Posts

Hi there

I searched the forum for a solution but nothing works...my setup is a little strange so I will explane.

First my server has 17 drives including a few ssd.

The ssd is for the cache and I have a hdd of same size on btrfs.

I have 2 vms running one is nethserver and the other is win 10.

To shutdown I first shutdown both Vm then I check for open files. I kill the open files. Then I stop the array. The array stops correctly. Then I tell the system to shutdown and I get the unmounting remote file system... for ever. ed943b45e46706cf026fc15567386bfb.jpg

How can I fix this... After I force the power to go off... using a internet remote switch. And I have the seating in the bios to turn on once the power is restored the system does not kick off a parity check. So this is just mainly a annoyance.. but would like to fix it.

Any ideas on how I can diagnose or fix?

Thank you in advance
