The picture on newegg looks a little small to be containing multiple drives. Also at least according to one review when they took it apart it was a single drive. But that is all I have to work with.
January 21, 201115 yr Things are now becoming interesting on the 3TB front; it's still twice the price of the 2TB but it's approaching the respectable price range. Downside is it's short term warranty and if you want to use it internally, you'd void the warranty at the start.
