October 10, 20205 yr Hi, Brand new user alert. I am attempting to move files from Ubuntu 18.04 desktop to my Unraid servier. These are my share settings in Unraid: Security and user settings, rw permissions granted to user The share is showing up and is mounted on my Ubuntu client I want to move files from: When I attempt to copy (right click folder, "Copy to") the files over, I get this error: Do I need to restart the server for the permissions to take effect? I'm at a loss for how to move the files over. I have also tried SSH in terminal, but I don't think I understand the directory structure in Unraid. Please help!

October 12, 20205 yr Author |SOLVED] I attempted to move files to a different share (Downloads) and found success. Then I tried to move files to the Media share, and was able to outside of my Movies folder. I deleted the Movies folder and created a new one - and that was it. I'm not sure what the difference was, but apparently when I created the folders in Krusader, there was some kind of permissions issue preventing writes.
