October 14, 20205 yr Heyo @ all, yesterday I finally set up my server after a long wait for the hardware and went straight to the installation of Unraid. When I tried to start UnRAID for the first time, I was a bit confused because I could only boot the GUI. With the shell version, the picture stayed black and nothing happened ... so far so good. So I booted and set up UnRAID with the GUI. I created a few shares and set up everything. The parity was set up overnight, but when I wanted to continue today, the screen was frozen and after a restart I couldn't boot into the GUI either. I've already reinstalled or prepared the stick a few times, but I still can't boot. I also reset my BIOS and tried both UEFI and BIOS. I have already tried it via the USB2.0 port, but that was unsuccessful too. My hardware is: CPU: i7 8700 MoBo: MSI B365M PRO-VH S1151 RAM: 16GB (2x 8192MB) Corsair Vengeance LPX DDR4-2400 DIMM HDD: 4000GB Seagate IronWolf SSD: SanDisk Solid State Drive Plus 240G Many thanks in advance for your help Philip

You should be able to watch the boot process. Let us know what you see and where the process seems to fail. I am assuming that the Unraid boot menu does appear since you can boot to the GUI version. Third thing. If you can boot to the GUI, go immediately to Tools >>> Diagnostics and save the Diagnostics file. (Look at the screen and it will tell you where the file is being saved.) Attached the complete Diagnostics file to your NEXT post.
