October 16, 20205 yr So i have a 4 disk setup with all the same drives with 3 data and 1 parity drive my question is does the parity drive count against my 6 total devices thing or is the 6 only applicable to the drives that actually do store stuff
October 16, 20205 yr It counts them regardless if you use them or not so you will be considered using 4 at this stage.

The flash drive is not counted.
