Don't see how this could work. At the very least it isn't well defined. Do you mean every video file you have should always have the beginning of the file on cache all the time? Or do you mean it should be read from wherever it is and stored on cache instead of actually starting to play (what would be the point of that)?

So are you suggesting that ALL movies have their first part stored on cache ALL the time? If not ALL movies ALL the time, then what would be the criteria for deciding which movies, and how would you decide when they needed to be there?
