Moving from one SSD to another

Featured Replies

Hi,

I've bought a new 500gb SSD for my cache, I have an existing 250gb ssd cache with my appdata etc. I'm running the latest 6.9 beta 30 and I've created a new cache pool of one with my new SSD as they're both XFS formatted.

Would it work if I copied most data over, then disabled vms and docker and finished copying them over, then take out both ssds from their pools and putting my new SSD where my old ssd was? Would it just then work? Need to avoid moving all my data to my array and back again as it'll be too long of downtime

Solved my own question by just doing it, and yes it works :) Only 10 min downtime for 150gb ish
