October 18, 20205 yr Hello everyone! I preface this post with an apology if the question I'm about to ask has been asked a thousand times before. I've watched the Spaceinvader One videos countless times, I've followed everything he's done meticulously, I've scoured the forums, but I can't seem to find my exact issue, nor a fix. So I'm trying to create a VM (Windows and OSX), which I do. Can access it through VNC perfectly fine each time. But when I try to switch to the video card pass through, as soon as I click "Update", it sets VNC as the primary video and the video card as the secondary. I've edited the XML files repeatedly, made sure to do that after making changes in the WebUI, yet every single time, as soon as hit Update, boom, right back to VNC. Then, once I go back in to the VM after changing those options, the display is set to 800x600 and I can't change it. Happens in both Windows and OSX. I even replaced my video card thinking maybe it was that. Is there something I'm doing wrong? Is it supposed to be that way so you never really lose access to your VMs? Am I totally glossing over some important step? Please help 😭
