Hi, 

 

I currently have a 4TB parity drive and want to replace it with a 8TB one. I also want to reuse the 4TB and make it a NEW data drive in the array.

 

Can I use the "copy" procedure described in that wiki https://wiki.unraid.net/The_parity_swap_procedure

    Parity Swap is not appropriate.   To do what you want first replace the parity drive, and then only when parity has been rebuilt use the standard procedure for adding a new drive to the array to add the old parity drive as a new data drive.    You may find this section of the online documentation to be of use.
