Running UnRAID from a Raspberry Pi?

Featured Replies

I'm wondering, has anyone tried running UnRAID from a Raspberry Pi, or an array of Pis? I'm not sure if it's possible but wondering with version 4. My hardware has been rather outdated for a while but I just haven't felt the need to invest in newer hardware yet. I'm wonder if a Pi setup might be worth exploring. The new compute modules based on 4 just came out. The improvements have gotten me considering the possibility. I know the biggest issue is UnRAID not being ARM, but other than that...

You don’t think the fact this is a show-stopper is not relevant :)

I think he showed it starting up under a DOS emulator.   It may well have been Unraid v5 if the emulator was only 32 bit.  Seem to remember though that although technically it was running it took an inordinately long time to boot (several hours?) so was not viable except as a thought experiment
