scott4740 Posted October 19, 2020 Share Posted October 19, 2020 Hello, I have come across this issue where when I invoke the mover process almost all of the files when trying to be moved to the array throw this type of error below: move_object: /mnt/cache/media/tv/filename.mkv No space left on device I have recently added a 10TB drive to begin consolidating the spread of my media files onto fewer drives. I defined disks 1, 2 and 7 as being available for this share with disk 7 being the new 10TB drive. So I believe I have added more space to the share and I enabled split level to the top 3 directories and even changed the allocation method to most free but I still can't get the mover to successful move the files from the cache. The cache is set to Yes. I am sure it is something easy I a missing but just can't get the mover script to provide more information. Today, split levels cause more problems than they will ever prevent since hard drives are now larger than 250GB! https://wiki.unraid.net/Un-Official_UnRAID_Manual#Split_level PS--- Most Free does its level best to do exactly what split level setting is trying to prevent!
