October 20, 20205 yr A few months ago the flash drive died and with a struggle I got a new one up and running. This morning I wanted to check something on the Apps tab and found a 'Fatal Flash Drive Error' message. It suggested to post a new tread to this forum for assistance... It's the second Kingston Datatraveler 3.0 which fails, maybe another brand this time? Can I recover from this error or do I need to email Limetech for the license?
October 20, 20205 yr Author I'm a bit scared to reboot, this server handles our Home Automation. I've ordered a new SanDisk Cruzer Fit 2.0, when this arrives I will be brave enough to reboot
October 20, 20205 yr Community Expert Automatic license transfer only allows one per year so you will have to contact limetech to do another. Wouldn't hurt to try to repair the existing flash. Were you booting from USB2 port? USB3 ports seem to disconnect for some systems.
