Add emulated serial port to a Linux VM

Hello,

 

I'm new to the UnRaid world coming from baremetal/Proxmox.

At the moment I'm trying to run Xpenology in a VM like on one of my Proxmox machines.

 

So my question is how can I add a emulated serial port to a Linux VM and see its output?

Had a look in the plain xml but have no clue.

 

In proxmox I did the following: 

root@pmx01:~# qm set 222 -serial0 socket
