Issue after Issue (new to unraid) this time with Docker/VMs

Featured Replies

I bought a Dell PowerEdge R620 that has a H710 controller in it.  Super huge pain the rear and took me two days of reading to figure out that unRaid wouldn't read the drives because even though Raid is turned off it will not initialize the drives into unRaid unless I configure the drives as Raid0.

That being said, now that I have it configured and unraid running I am getting an error every time I boot up Docker can not start service and when I look at the Docker settings it saying "Path does not exist" for /mnt/user/system/docker/docker.img.  I did try utilizing the command line to find this directory and it of course does not exist.

I am also seeing other issues.

Settings -> VM Manger I also see "One of more paths do not exist"

If I try to add a share It acts like it is creating the share then it brings me back to the main screen with no share created.

Any help would be great as this is becoming super frustrating.

Either you haven't formatted any disks yet, or you are already having problems with that RAID controller. And I can also see that controller isn't passing SMART so no way for Unraid to monitor SMART for disk problems.

You would be better to start over with another controller. See the other thread you posted on for more about that.
