Maddeen
Hello everybody, I recently bought a new Ryzen 3700X and 2x16GB G.Skill Trident Z Neo DDR4-3600 For what I read both - the CPU and the RAM - support 3600MHz. It's even highly recommended to buy DDR4-3600 because thats the sweat spot of the Ryzen. But it seams that I dont make the correct changes in my bios (ASUS TUF X570-Plus). I thought that I just need to activate D.O.C.P (just like XMP for Intel) and everything else is done automatically. In my case that's not true. After setting D.O.C.P to ON (Profile 1) and doing a reboot, my system starts (fans spinning high) - and shut down - and start - and shut down ... this repeats about 5-7 times. After this my system starts normal - but when I enter the bios the RAM speed was set back to default 2133MHz. 😠 What did I miss? Maybe someone got the same configuration or some tips in general? Thanks a los Edited October 24, 2020 by Maddeen Quote Link to comment
