But b4 I do I wanted to ask. at them moment from what I know when I add the unit it will allow me to expand my current array. Which are my hdd local to the server. what I wanted to know is there a way to setup I guess a new array? what I don’t want to happen is if I have any issues with the raid card if connecting cable for it to take everything offline. Vr2Io Posted October 25, 2020 Share Posted October 25, 2020 You can use cache pool ( or multiple cache pool feature if cache pool already live ) to form a RAID0 pool to make test on external shelf, never use live disk for test purpose. Quote Link to comment
