Hey guys,

 

Just realised I've been running the motherboard controller in IDE mode, not AHCI. I'm running 5.0 beta 2, is it possible to switch to AHCI without causing any issues? I'd rather check here first, than cause myself un-neccessary headaches  ;)

    Take a copy / printscreen of your drives page first.

     

    I made this change a while back and I think a drive was unassigned as a result.  Just make sure you put any drives back in the right slot on the drives page and all should be fine.

    1. Tap the lock icon next to the address bar.
    2. Tap Permissions → Notifications.
    3. Adjust your preference.
    Chrome (Desktop)
    1. Click the padlock icon in the address bar.
