No point in shopping for a UPS until you know the max power draw of the server, and the unplanned clean shutdown time needed.

 

Once you know the watts, and time a shutdown with all services running, find a UPS with at least double the time at the given wattage.

I've seen cheap UPS(s) kill power supplies and take motherboard and drives with them. So for me the cheapest one I would recommend is a cyberpower 850PFCLCD, the PFC models are so much kinder to the power supplies when they switch to battery backup.
