Hello All ,

just got a new build an I really want to try hard Unraid.

My bad I forgot to check the NIC on my Motherboard (https://www.gigabyte.com/Motherboard/B550I-AORUS-PRO-AX-rev-10/sp#sp) , yes realtek :( .

If possible I would like to request to integrate the drivers for this NIC , otherwise can't set a fix IP or get one from my DHCP (PfSense) .

Should be this: https://www.realtek.com/en/component/zoo/category/network-interface-controllers-10-100-1000m-gigabit-ethernet-pci-express-software

Thank you so much in advance . Looking forward to try Unraid ! (please don't let me go FreeBSD :) )

if you use the 6.9.0 beta release it includes drivers for 2.5Gb NIC.   The 6.8.3 release is based on an older Linux kernel and does not include the required driver.

Thanks champ , I'm up and running.

In general , Realtek is no longer niche and should be set as standard in kernel build .

It is in the base kernel, but 6.8.3 was built on a pretty old one. The issues have been solved and 6.9.0 is up to date.
