October 29, 20205 yr Hello All , just got a new build an I really want to try hard Unraid. My bad I forgot to check the NIC on my Motherboard (https://www.gigabyte.com/Motherboard/B550I-AORUS-PRO-AX-rev-10/sp#sp) , yes realtek :( . If possible I would like to request to integrate the drivers for this NIC , otherwise can't set a fix IP or get one from my DHCP (PfSense) . Should be this: https://www.realtek.com/en/component/zoo/category/network-interface-controllers-10-100-1000m-gigabit-ethernet-pci-express-software Thank you so much in advance . Looking forward to try Unraid ! (please don't let me go FreeBSD :) )
October 29, 20205 yr Community Expert if you use the 6.9.0 beta release it includes drivers for 2.5Gb NIC. The 6.8.3 release is based on an older Linux kernel and does not include the required driver.
October 30, 20205 yr Author Thanks champ , I'm up and running. In general , Realtek is no longer niche and should be set as standard in kernel build .
