[SOLVED] Disk 3 Missing

Featured Replies

I recently had a SATA cable connection issue, then a PSU failure now that's all fixed.

I have tested disk 3 in an external HDD dock and it shows up in linux.

When I connect disk 2's cable to disk 3 cable, disk 2 shows up

when I connect disk 3's cable to disk 2 cable, disk 3 is still missing.

I have run exhaustive tests on cables and sata ports all drives (Except disk 3) attach to all ports using all cables.

Disk 3 shows as missing, I am unsure of what to do.

Disk isn't being detected, make sure it's not the 3.3v SATA issue, you can use a Molex to SATA adapter to test.

Is it detected by the BIOS?

It was the 3.3v sata issue, when I connected it to my icy dock which is powered by 2x Molex power the drive showed up in unraid
