[solved] No IP getting assigned / server not showing up in the network

Featured Replies

Hey all!

Got my machine to boot up successfully, but it doesn't want to have an IP. Using v6.8.3

I'm using this mainboard. Available NICs are Dragon RTL8125BG and Intel® I219V. Port and cable have been tested. They work fine with my PC

Deleting the network.cfg file didn't get me anywhere. It wasn't recreated. Also tried with bonding disabled and with a static IP
I changed those settings via the vi editor inside of the linux shell and rebooted afterwards. I hope that's a viable option?

You will have to use the beta release for those NICs

Okay, thanks! Will try that tomorrow
But where do I find that info?

And how do I even install a next version? With the USB creator tool that would be easy, but that wasn't able to find my USB stick
