January 25, 201115 yr Hey Guys. I came home today and tried to access my Unraid share, but I couldn't access anything and it wouldn't connect so I went to the web interface and there was a red dot next to the parity drive so without thinking and grabbing a syslog I restarted and when it came back, my parity drive is now showing as blue and my number 2 hard drive which is now red says it's missing. Unraid version 4.6 Pro. Please help
January 25, 201115 yr Crystal ball is fuzzy. Please post a syslog. Better to have the one from when the first problem occurred but the one from after the boot is better than nothing. Also post info about your sever - motherboard, controllers, memory, PSU.
January 26, 201115 yr Author Well looks as though I've fixed the problem, what I did was shut the machine down and rebooted and the missing drive re appeared, then I did the telnet command for making unraid trust the parity drive and it completed a parity check and came back with no errors.
January 26, 201115 yr It sounds like you've got some kind of power supply or SATA connection problem when drives are dropping out like that.
