Hi Everyone,

 

How do I create a VPN service on my Unraid for my Entire Home network?

 

I assume this is quite straight forward but I'm finding this difficult to find solutions to.... (and without doubt lack of capability on my part).

 

I would like a docker/service on unraid that connects to my VPN provider Nord. I would then like to be able to route various devices/TV's etc to this service so their traffic goes out on a VPN connection. I hope/assume that I just point to the IP address of the VPN service on my unraid box.

 

I'm able to do something similar with my router AC68U with WRT Merlin firmware - on there I create a VPN service and because my devices point to router the VPN picks up the relevant service and forwards to the VPN. Issue with this is that sometimes/alot the service crashes on my router and the killswitch does not work therefore my traffic goes out in the clear.

 

Any help massive appreciated.
