November 4, 20205 yr Diags after rebooting don't help much, try this and post that log after a crash.
November 9, 20205 yr Author Issue resolved by replacing drives. I noticed one was super slow reporting to BIOS and most of my drives were 5+ year old Seagate Barracudas, I figured it was time to upgrade anyway. Smooth sailing since. Disabling syslog flash mirroring.
November 10, 20205 yr Author Just when I thought I was in the clear I came home to another crash. Tried turning syslog back on but /var/log/syslog stays at 0 bytes regardless of the above settings mentioned. I've tried loopback, mirrored to flash, remote syslog but I can't seem to generate any kind of syslog.

Perhaps something else is corrupted? I have created my own bash script to run when the array starts to mirror syslog to my cache drive until I can figure out what's going on here.
