November 6, 20205 yr Hopefully someone can help. I just put together my new system 5800x and ASRock x570 Tiachi. I updated to the beta and everything before I switched CPU/Mobo. Now when I try to boot unraid it gets stuck on 'x86 Booting SMP configuration'. I'm not quite sure what to do now. My old system was a FX-8350 with a 970 chipset if it matters. Thanks!
November 6, 20205 yr Price of being an early adopter. It might be a while before anyone knows what is wrong or a fix will be created. It's always advised to go with slightly older hardware (at least a year old) with Unraid. First thing though: Are you on 6.9.beta30?
November 6, 20205 yr Author Oh my god. I'm an idiot. I updated the bios on the board and everything is fine now. I 'assumed' that since the mobo booted into bios and recognized the processor all was good. I was wrong.
