Hard drive doesn't show in unraid

In my unraid server I have 4 WD red pro 6TB hard drives and on Wednesday I noticed that in the web gui one drive was showing "device is disabled contents emulated". I tried to run a smart test on the drive and was unable to. I restarted the server and after that the drive failed to show, just listed as device missing. I moved hard drives around in my server to make sure it wasn't a backplane/physical connection issue and ruled that out, it is something with the drive. I threw the drive in an external hard drive enclosure and have it plugged into my Windows 10 pc. I am able to find the drive under device manager. The server has been running more or less continually since February of this year with no hardware changes. I assume the drive isn't dead since it shows up on windows. What would my next step be?
