[6.9 beta 30] OS crashing - syslog is not mirroring

Featured Replies

Lately my server has been freezing randomly requiring a hard reboot every time. To get to the bottom of this I have tried setting up syslog mirroring and my first try was just setting "Mirror syslog to flash" to "Yes". My server froze, but no syslog files are present in my flash drive. Now I tried once again changing my syslog server settings to the below, but even now, no syslogs are being written to either /boot/logs nor /mnt/user/system.

Anybody have any idea why or how I can troubleshoot this? I can access the syslog directly from RAM without any troubles.

There are previous reports of the syslog server not working with latest betas, I think I saw a workaround, but can't find it now.

Ok thanks. I updated to beta 35 just now and it’s still the same issue.
