Windows 10 vm Artifacting

Featured Replies

Hello, I'm new to unraid and am having issues with setting up gpu passthrough with a windows 10 vm.

I can get it running with the gpu passed through along with my usb devices how ever I have problems with graphical glitches when using the vm

This doesn't happen when using the system bare metal. And it only happens on one screen. The affected screen is connected via hdmi while the screen without issues is connected via displayport. Using just the hdmi screen gives the same results as with dual monitors.

Also I am using a vbios dumped from my card with gpu-z

Specs of the system

-ryzen 5 1600x

-MSI gaming trio x 3080

-Asus prime x370-pro

I followed Spaceinvaderone's one tutorial to set up both the windows vm and the gpu pass through

Below I have my xml and the logs from the vm.

Xml paste bin

Vm Log

Things I've tried already

-Enabling and Disabling Hyper-v

-using both ovmf and seabios

-updating to newest display drivers on vm

-using ddu to get a clean install of drivers

-swapping hdmi cables

-recreating the vm with different machine types

-passing through and vbios for the gpu

-not passing through a vbios for the gpu

Not sure if there anything I'm missing so any help would be greated appreciated.
