Blue Iris

Featured Replies

I need to move my Blue Iris Server from an old WIN10 Box to my unraid server. I see that a few posts have been made for running it in a VM, but is that the most efficient way to do it? There isnt a Docker for it?

Does anyone have any new tips or direction on the best way to build out BI on unraid?

Unraid runs linux, and Blue Iris is windows only.

Not possible to reasonably run resource intensive windows programs in a linux docker container.

You will need to set up a Windows virtual machine on Unraid and install Blue Iris there.

Still early stages, but a Blue Iris docker is available (running on WINE in docker), some conversation on Reddit where others are having success with it
