doesntaffect
Hi folks, I have two failing USB sticks in a couple of days an wonder if there is a pattern. The server (hardware) is brand new and I am running the latest beta. I tried to create a Win 10 VM which failed and suddently Docker and VMs are disabled and the Dashboard looks scrambled and shows following error messages: Quote Warning: parse_ini_file(/boot/config/docker.cfg): failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /usr/local/emhttp/plugins/dynamix.docker.manager/include/DockerClient.php on line 50 Warning: array_replace_recursive(): Expected parameter 2 to be an array, bool given in /usr/local/emhttp/plugins/dynamix.docker.manager/include/DockerClient.php on line 50 Warning: parse_ini_file(/boot/config/domain.cfg): failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /usr/local/emhttp/plugins/dynamix.vm.manager/include/libvirt_helpers.php on line 472 The registration page says: Error code: ENOFLASH3 I stopped the Array. Main doesnt show the 3 Cache SSDs anymore, however the Dashboard does show the cache. Any advise? Edited November 20, 2020 by doesntaffect Quote Link to comment

doesntaffect
Thanks, should it be that easy? I'll give it a shot. Shutdown and replugging the stick to another port doesnt mess up anything with shares / container etc.? Quote Link to comment

Shutdown and replugging the stick to another port doesnt mess up anything with shares / container etc.? No - Unraid does not care where it is plugged - just that it is. Unraid is largely hardware agnostic. it surprises me how many people are finding USB3 drives to be unreliable for prolonged use (in theory they should ‘just work’) but maybe that is just the current state of the technology. Djinn
I just bought a USB card that had an internal type connector to put my thumb drive inside my case. Keep my kid from grabbing it and none of my unraid stuff got jacked up Quote Link to comment
doesntaffect
plugged the stick into a USB2 port and so far things are running fine. I am new UnRaid, coming from Synology and still learn. Thanks for the support! Quote Link to comment
