What does SMART "Throughput performance" messure??

Recommended Posts

Ok, so at this point I have shuffled drives around so all my array drives are now matching 12TB WD white label EMFZ drives.

I was comparing SMART data for each of them (OT, is there an easy way to download all the smart reports for the drives via script on a weekly basis so I can track things over time?).

I noticed besides power on hours, they are all basically the same, except my parity drive has a "Throughput performance" of 104 vs most of the other drives being 112 or 116? One other drive is 108.

Curious how important this is and what it actually measures? What is a normal reading for White label 12TB drives?

Is it normal for the parity to be lower? Should I be worried seeing as the drive is only a few months old?
