Server crashed twice in a month

Featured Replies

Hi Guys. I had unraid server running for about 9 months with no issues, and over the last couple weeks, it seems to crash, and when I console in to the server via ilo, here is the error I see .  Wondering if there is anything you can help me do to pinpoint the issue.  I have also the logs if needed

Thanks!

Go to Tools - Diagnostics and attach the complete Diagnostics ZIP file to your NEXT post in this thread.

Unlikely to be the cause, but why have you given 50G to docker.img? 20G should be more than enough. Have you had problems filling it?

Also, system share has files on the array. This often happens if you enable dockers or VMs before installing cache. And they can't be moved while docker or VM service is enabled.

Setup Syslog Server so syslogs will get saved where you can get them after crash:

Thanks. I will get syslog enabled.   Is it possible to move the system folder after its up and running?

also i was trying to figure out something on the docker, just not sure why i increased it anymore.  would it be best to move it back to 20?

Wasting space.

Hi @trurl,  sorry for the late reply.

So I enabled it, but I don't see anything written to the drive for syslog yet. I am going to reboot to see if that helps and recheck everything.

I switched the docker back down to 20gb, and bought some new drives for cyber monday, so will be adding some storage 🙂
