oabegga Posted November 26, 2020 Share Posted November 26, 2020 I have a HP ProLiant DL 360 Gen 7 Server with 2x Xeon X5690, something above 50 GB RAM and 3x 500 GB SSD in RAID 5. I need to pass through my AMD Fire Pro W7100 graphics card and a PCIe Apple Wifi/Bluetooth card. For both devices i get the same error Failed to set iommu for container: Operation not permitted. My Unraid Version is 6.8.3 Windows 10 VM error: internal error: process exited while connecting to monitor: 2020-11-26T07:41:49.352170Z qemu-system-x86_64: -device vfio-pci,host=0000:09:00.1,id=hostdev1,bus=pci.0,addr=0x5.0x1: vfio 0000:09:00.1: failed to setup container for group 35: Failed to set iommu for container: Operation not permitted Those devices are my graphics card and the sound part. My settings: Everything that has something to do with virtualization is turnded on PCIe ACS override: Multi-function (I tried all options) VFIO allow unsafe interrupts: Yes Without the graphics card the VM boots fine.
