/mnt/remotes appeared out of nowhere

Featured Replies

Hi,

Running 6.9.0 beta35. Today, Fix Common Problems notified me that an invalid folder is contained within /mnt. After looking into it, it looks like a new folder: /mnt/remotes, has been created. I checked my docker configs, but I haven't mapped this folder to any volume. Matter of fact, I didn't even touch my UnRaid configuration the last week.

Tried removing it from the console, but it says the resource is busy, even after stopping the array. Any idea where this folder could have came from?

I just saw the release notes for the last version of Unasigned Devices:

Add: Switch to enable/disable disks view. You can now limit the view of UD to disks only, remote shares only, or both.

Add: Remote shares are now mounted at '/mnt/remotes'.

Might be that ?

Aaahh there we go! Looks like the Fix Common Problems plugin hasn't been updated to accomodate this yet.
Thanks! I'll flag the error as ignore for now :)

I got this too with 6.8.3 stable at 4am this morning when everything got updated on both my unraid boxes, was about to post as well.

Good to know, I'll wait on the fix common problems update then.

I spent 2 days trying to figure out why none of my Plex content would play, until I realized this.  The change could have used a little more announcing.

Hahaha. Me too! I was highly confused. I wonder what made them change that? Seemed OK to me.
