[SOLVED] Bitwarden_rs Swag 502 error

Featured Replies

Hello,

I'm completely new to UNRAID and trying it out for a home theatre sever amongst other things. I'm trying to configure bitwarden_rs through a reverse proxy and getting a 502 error. I've managed to successfully setup apps like plex, sonarr, etc. but having no look with bitwarden.

I can access it locally through the port I defined (1000) but when trying to visit through my domain, I get a 502 error no matter what i try. I'm using the sample conf from the proxy-confs folder, and have also tried SpaceInvaders' custom file from his YouTube video with the same result.

I've attached my docker setups for both bitwarden and swag, any help is really appreciated.

For anyone who finds this in the future, I stopped using swag and switched to Nginx Proxy Manager and have had no issues since.

I would be interested in seeing your proxy config from Nginx Proxy Manager, since I'm in exactly the same boat.

I've searched and searched, looked at all kinds of examples, tried adding environment vars to change the web socket port, and it just will not work through the proxy. Works fine using internal IP.

I have loads of reverse proxies working in SWAG, but cannot get this one to work. I tried migrating to NPM a few months back but it kept on corrupting configs for some bizarre reason so gave up on it.

Cheers

Oh, changing the host from 'bitwardenrs' to the internal ip of my unraid box has sorted it, which is odd, since sure I have tried that...
