tthierry
Dear Unraid forum, I just setup an unraid server with nothing special really: i3 10100 1 nvme for cache 2 ssd for VMs 32 Gb rams 1 gtx 1080 1 rx 570 (with the reset bug:( ) Did install a few vms and in a W10 VM I read on crystaldiskmark the bellow scores. not sure it makes sense. Would be interested if someone has got some explanation (use of ram?) Very happy with the performances of course! Quote Link to comment
tthierry
answering myself/ default disk option for qemu vms is: <driver name='qemu' type='raw' cache='writeback'/> with writeback option the cache is used > ram then I guess this will show what is going on on the server cache: grep -i "^cache\|dirty\|writeback:" /proc/meminfo Quote Link to comment
