November 30, 20205 yr So I currently have a SuperMicro X9DRI-LN4F+ in a SuperMicro CSE-846 I want to move it to a Fractal Design Define 7 XL. Currently in the Server is Quadro RTX 4000 Quadro P2000, SuperMicro LSI 9300-8i (Flashed), and 2x PCI-E4x to NVME (Raid1 Cache). I am losing the backplane and have to get a breakout cable this I know here is the issue. Will UnRaid hate that I am adding another SuperMicro LSI 9300-8i to give me 16 Drives. The RTX 4000 will be moving to my other computer that is my Streaming PC and the P2000 is passed to my windows VM that I use for some AutoCAD work. I do not hardware transcode plex since I just finished encoding all my movies to H265 with ffmpeg saved me 25TB of space. So back to the root is when starting unraid long as both controllers are HBA mode will it just boot up like if they were attached to a backplane?
