UNRAID no screen after loading

Featured Replies

Hello,

i am new to unraid and just started to play around a bit on Server 1 where it was running with no issues. I had to plug the USB-stick into another server (Server 2) and also there it was working fine.

Today i replugged the stick back to server 1. But i am not able to boot it properly. I can boot from USB, i can choose the different modes (GUI, no GUI, safe mode etc.). Than I can see the row of codes and it seems to load. But thats all...after the "loading" the monitor goes off (says, no input detected) and nothing happens. I let it run for 1 hour, but no screen, and i can't ping the Server.

I formatted the USB stick, did a new copy using the unraid usb tool, did it also manually, tried UEFI and legacy, tried different USB sticks..switch USB ports..but always the same behaivior. Assigned a fixed IP in the config file, but still not able to reach the server

I also searched for this issue. But mostly, others were able to ping an access the server using the Web-GUI. not working for me..

Unfortunately i can't try it on my Server 2.

Do you guys have any idea what i can try?

Can you boot something other than Unraid from USB?

i tried gparted, and it is also not working. I can see the bootloader, like with unraid, and then the monitor shuts off.

Still no idea what i can check as next.

I also tried nomodeset, without luck

UDPATE: Sooo...i focused too much on the USB stick...the CPU had an issue. After replacing it, everything is working like it should :)
