Is this the card I need to add more drives?  I have the Server Beast from the wiki and it is listed in my signature.  I currently have 6 drives and I will be adding at least 1 more soon.

I don't think I need that breakout cable, I have the SAS back plane so I think I would just need a SAS to SAS cable correct?

Yes if you have sas backplanes you only need the sas to sas cables.
