CA unassigned Devices - Cant use disk after preclear

Hi,
I bought a pair of new drives for my array and initial started with preclearing them via CA preclear-disks.

After it finished I pressed the red X and wanted to format the hdd.
I tried to format it as NTFS and also XFS. None of it had an effect.
After the success message the drive has only the format button and shows no filesystem. Even after I formatted it to NTFS on my local Windows machine it wont show a filesystem in CA UD.
Can someone give me a hint?

My plan is either to format is as xfs, copy my files on it and imclude it into the array - or to format it as ntfs to hold my data that is on my future parity drive
(the drive I want to use as parity drive holds a bunch of data ATM). Woud first be possible (integrate a xfs with data directly into array without loosing the data)?
