failed to create array in unraid

Featured Replies

I am trying to create an array with 5 sas disks and when I select the disk it disappears from the list and is deleted, not being able to do anything until I give a new installation or restart the system.

this is the hardware

HP DL380P Gen8

** 2x2650 / 64gb / 5 * 4tb SAS Seagate Constellation 6Gb / s ST4000NM0023

** SAS controller DELL Perc H200 it mode

I have done the pertinent tests by changing the disks to another computer, changing the sas controller, installing other systems on the computer and the disks work in all tests.

any solution?

If possible before rebooting and preferably with the array started
Go to Tools - Diagnostics and attach the complete Diagnostics ZIP file to your NEXT post in this thread.

Looks like 2 disk controllers. Which are you using? Best if you don't attempt to use any RAID mode.

Disks are

Formatted with type 2 protection

You need to remove this, you can just google it.
