Unassigned device VM accessing shares on the Array

I have a Ubuntu 20.04 server setup on an unassigned device. How do I or can I access a share from the array? I want to expand my VM storage using this method if possible.

    Same as you would any other computer on your LAN. In the VM either add the lines into /etc/fstab, or use the VM's mount network drive function.
