Request to enhance the docker template editor by adding the ability to disable variables, devices etc and for authors to be able to set the state as default on or off.

Use cases:

• troubleshooting (temporary enable/disable)
• better templating i.e. author can provide optional variables that might not be used by all users, such as hardware acceleration
• faster switching between similar configurations

+1 There have been several cases where this would have saved me time

+1 This would be awesome

+1 specifically for optional variables, creating advanced templates with more configurable optional variables is currently not possible.
