comparing drive speed

hey,

 

can you throw me some keywords to look in the forum for drive speed comparison?

I'm sure, there are some simple ways, to get a better view on your overall disk performance.

the only things i used for now are unraid menu -> script -> "disk speed test" for reading tests

and manually copy large files to specific disks via network.

 

I know there are some comands around, that let you do better research from the console. but I can't remember.

 

maybe I could rely on a windows disk testing tool and check out the availability of my drives through the network.
